Withdrawing a quote
Pull a sent quote back. The URL still works but tells the customer it is no longer valid.
Withdrawing a quote
At any time after sending a quote via URL or email, you can withdraw it.
If the customer clicks the quote URL after you withdraw it, they see a message that the quote is no longer available, and they are offered the ability to request a requote.
When to withdraw
- You need to change the quote substantially.
- You cannot complete the job.
- You know you did not get the job, but the customer never clicked Decline.
- You want to take back an old, stale quote URL.
Regenerating instead of withdrawing
You can create a new URL at any time, whether you have withdrawn or not. The new URL overrides the old one. So if you just need to update the quote and resend, you do not have to withdraw first - just generate a fresh URL.
