Account and security
Your personal details, sign-in email, password, 2FA, recovery codes, and recovery questions.
Account and security
Two tabs under Account cover everything about you as a user.
Account tab
Here you can change the details of the account owner. These details are not shown anywhere else other than here.
This is also where you can change the email associated with your account. Customers will see your email on quotes as an option to contact you directly, so make sure it is one you check.
You can change your email up to once every 7 days. The change requires confirmation from both your old and new email addresses to complete.
Security tab
This area is important. It controls how you sign in and how you recover your account if something goes wrong.
Password
Change your password at any time. Required for accounts that signed up with email and password (not Google sign-in).
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Add a TOTP authenticator (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, etc.) to require a code every time you sign in. Strongly recommended.
Recovery codes
Once 2FA is set up, generate a set of one-time recovery codes. Store them somewhere safe (printed, password manager) - they let you sign in if you lose your authenticator app.
Recovery questions
Set a small number of questions only you can answer. Used by support to verify your identity if you ever lose access to your email AND your recovery codes.
Where to find it
