Invoice editor

The invoice editor has a left panel for editing and a live preview on the right that shows exactly what your customer will see.

Line items

Each line has a title, description, quantity, unit, and unit price. The line total is calculated automatically (qty × unit price).

Adding lines

Click Add Line Item at the bottom of the Lines panel. Choose from:

• Custom — enter a title and price manually.
• Catalog — search your catalog library and import a row with a single click.
• Component — add from your component library.

Editing lines

Click the pencil icon on any line to edit its title, description, quantity, unit, or unit price inline.

Reordering lines

Use the ↑ / ↓ arrows to move lines up or down.

Show / hide toggles

Every line has four checkboxes that control what the customer sees:

Toggle	What it does
Show	Displays or hides the entire line on the customer invoice
Price	Shows or hides the unit price and line total for that line
Qty	Shows or hides the quantity and unit
Add $	Includes or excludes the line from the invoice total

Tip: Show and Add $ are independent. You can hide a line visually while still including it in the total — for example, a contingency fee that's built into the total but not itemised.

When Show is unchecked, the Price, Qty, and Add $ toggles are disabled (they have no effect on a hidden line).

Details tab

• Invoice Date and Due Date — shown on the customer invoice.
• Notes — free text below the line items.
• Terms — payment terms, displayed below notes.
• Business Details — click Edit to update your company name, address, email, phone, logo, and footer for this invoice.
• References — invoice number and payment reference (read-only).
• Payment Details — bank account details shown in the Payment Instructions box on the customer invoice. Changes here only affect this invoice; to update defaults for future invoices, update your invoice template.

Auto-save

The editor saves automatically after 2 seconds of inactivity. The Save button at the top right saves immediately without navigating away.

Collapse panel

Click « in the panel header to collapse the left panel and get a full-width preview of the invoice.
