Quote templates
Pre-built bundles of components for jobs you quote often.
Quote templates
Quote templates are for manual quote takeoff jobs (not digital takeoff). They save time when you quote specific jobs a lot and do not want to manually add components every time.
For example, you might quote a lot of standard roofs that normally contain many of the same components - corrugate longrun with the same fixings, underlay, hips, valleys, ridges, barges, and delivery fee. Rather than create a new quote and manually add all those components, you save a template once and then load it from the dropdown of your templates when you start a new quote. All those components auto-populate. From there, you add the specific areas, lengths, and quantities to each component as you normally would.
Templates are designed to save you time. Every little bit helps.
Where to find it
Templates > Quote templates.
When to use a template
- You quote a lot of similar jobs (e.g. standard corrugate re-roofs).
- You want a faster starting point than a blank quote.
- You want consistency across jobs.
Skip templates if every job is bespoke or if you build quotes with digital takeoff (templates do not apply there).
