Guide Me walkthroughs

Guide Me is Q's walkthrough mode. Instead of answering a one-off question, Q coaches you through a task one step at a time — narrating what to do, pointing at the right control, and moving to the next step when you're ready.

Starting a walkthrough

1. Open Q (the circular button, bottom-right corner).
2. Switch to Guide me using the toggle in the panel header.
3. Q automatically starts a walkthrough for the page you're on. If there's a relevant guide for your current screen, Q sends the first step immediately.
4. If you want guidance on something else, type what you want to do — for example "How do I upload a catalog?" — and Q picks the right walkthrough.

Highlights

In Guide Me mode the Highlights toggle appears. When it's on, Q visually highlights the control it's talking about — a glow or pulse appears around the element on screen. This makes it easy to spot exactly what Q is pointing at.

When Highlights is off, Q describes where to find the control in text instead.

Cross-page guidance

Q can guide you across multiple pages. If a task requires you to navigate to a different screen, Q will tell you what page to go to and continue guiding you once you get there.

Turning off Guide Me

Switch back to Respond mode at any time using the mode toggle. Your current walkthrough state is cleared on the next new conversation.
