Invoice templates

Set up your branding and payment details so every invoice is ready to send.

Invoice templates

Invoice templates save your company branding and payment details so they auto-fill on every new invoice you create. Find them in Resources → Invoice Templates.

What a template stores

  • Company details — name, address, email, phone, logo, footer text
  • Payment details — bank account name, bank name, account number, sort code, payment link
  • Default notes — pre-filled notes for the customer (editable per invoice)
  • Default terms — payment terms text (editable per invoice)

Creating a template

  1. Go to Resources → Invoice Templates.
  2. Click New Template.
  3. Fill in your company branding and payment details.
  4. Click Save Template.

Using a template

When you create an invoice you can choose a saved template. The template's branding and payment details pre-fill the invoice. You can still edit everything per invoice — the template just saves you from typing the same details each time.

Multiple templates

You can create more than one template — useful if you trade under different names, have different bank accounts for different types of work, or want a template with different default terms.

Editing payment details on an invoice

You can override the payment details on any individual invoice from the Details tab in the invoice editor. Changes there only apply to that invoice. To change your defaults, edit the template in Resources.
