Sending an invoice

Three ways to get your invoice in front of your customer.

Sending an invoice

Once your invoice is ready, click Send Invoice in the top bar of the editor. Choose how you want to deliver it.

Option 1 — Send from QuoteCore+

QuoteCore+ emails the customer directly using your company branding.

  1. Enter the customer's email (pre-filled if you added one when creating the invoice).
  2. Choose a message template (optional) or write a custom subject and body.
  3. Click Send Invoice.

On a successful send:

  • The invoice status changes from Draft to Sent.
  • The customer receives a branded email with a View Invoice button.
  • You get an in-app activity log entry.
  • When the customer opens the link, the status changes to Viewed and you get an alert.

Plan note: Sending directly from QuoteCore+ requires a plan that includes email sending. If your plan doesn't include it, use one of the other options below.

Message templates

Go to Resources → Message Templates and create a template with kind Invoice Send. Available placeholders:

  • {{customer_name}} — customer's name
  • {{invoice_number}} — invoice number (e.g. INV-2026-000001)
  • {{invoice_total}} — formatted total amount
  • {{invoice_link}} — public invoice URL
  • {{due_date}} — due date (if set)
  • {{company_name}}, {{company_email}}, {{company_phone}}

Copies the public invoice URL to your clipboard. Paste it into any message, email, WhatsApp, or SMS.

The link is permanent and doesn't expire. Anyone with the link can view the invoice, so only share it with the intended customer.

Option 3 — Generate email

QuoteCore+ builds a ready-to-paste email (subject + body) using your template or a default message. Click Copy Email and paste it into your own email client.

After sending

The invoice page shows an Activity tab. Every open, send, payment report, and dispute is logged there with a timestamp.
